What is this ?
The Florida State Golf Association, Florida Junior Tour, has
started a new program (see logo above) where junior golfers can earn tournament
exemptions for FJT tournaments by playing in local tournament programs. The
Junior Golf Association of Broward County will participate in this program.
How do I earn an exemption ?
The winner each week
of the Boys Championship, Girls Championship, and Boys Junior Divisions
will earn one (1) exemption. The FSGA will be notified by email following the
tournament and the exemption will be credited to the player's account with the
FSGA. The exemption will be valid for one (1) year from the date earned.
JGA members receiving an exemption that do not have an FSGA account
must open one.
Also, the Carol Mann
and Julius Boros Award winners will receive one
(1) exemption.
What conditions must I meet ?
Players must meet the tournament conditions set forth by FSGA.
1. Must meet the age
and eligibility requirements of the FSGA.
2. Exemptions will be
awarded to the next eligible player if any player is not eligible for any
reason.
3. Players must submit
an entry and pay the tournament entry fee
to FSGA for each tournament by the closing date
for each event.
4. Players must be members in good standing
of both organizations.
5. Players must have an account with FSGA
